NBA Preview from The Sports Network Monday, January 19th (All times eastern) Cleveland Cavaliers (31-7) at Los Angeles Lakers (31-8) (Sports Network) - A battle of the elite caps off Martin Luther King Jr. Day for the NBA when the Eastern Conference's top team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, heads to Hollywood to take on the West's best in the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cavs, who are embarking on a four-game road trip, improved to a perfect 20-0 at home and an NBA best 31-7 overall on Friday when LeBron James recorded 29 points, 14 reboundsUGG Sandra and seven assists, as Cleveland upended the New Orleans Hornets, 92-78. James was 12-of-24 from the field overall and had 14 points in the fourth quarter after shooting a dreadful 8-for-28 in a loss to the Bulls in Chicago on Thursday. Sasha Pavlovic was a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range for 19 points, and Wally Szczerbiak made 4-of-5 three-point attempts for 14 points. Mo Williams added 17 points, as the Cavs won for the fourth Shox Junga II 2time in five games overall. Cleveland, which is a mere pedestrian 11-7 as the visitor on the year, will also face Portland, Golden State and Utah on its trek. The Lakers, who lead the Western Conference with a 31-8 mark, opened a quick two-game homestand with a tough loss to Orlando on Friday. Jameer Nelson poured in 15 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, Nike Men Air Force 1 Highincluding a trio of three-pointers, as the Magic pulled off an unprecedented season sweep of LA behind a 109-103 victory at Staples Center. The Magic, who also defeated LA by a 106-103 score in Orlando back on December 20, had never in franchise history taken the home-and-home season series against the Lakers. Rookie Courtney Lee added 12 points and did a terrific defensive job on Kobe Bryant, who went just 3-for-12 from the floor in an abnormally poor shooting effort in the fourth quarter. Bryant did finish with solid numbers, totaling his 15th careerShox Q'Vida triple-double with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists for the Lakers, who have dropped back-to-back games for just the second time this season. Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol each grabbed nine rebounds and added 17 and 13 points, respectively, as Los Angeles fell to 20-3 at home. The Cavs have dominated the Lakers recently by winning five straight and six of the last seven meetings between the two clubs. Cleveland has also taken two straight from LA at Staples Center.
